Rihanna – Lift Me Up (Wakanda Forever)
The first new single from Rihanna since her last appearance in 2016 is unveiled as “Lift Me Up.” It’s one of the soundtracks for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Marvel film.
The song also serves as a tribute to the incredible life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman, the actor of the first Black Panther movie who died in 2020 at the age of 43.
Tems as a co-writer of the song said in a press release: “After chatting with Ryan and hearing his idea for the song and the movie, I wanted to write something that depicted a warm embrace from all the people I’ve lost in my life, she added.
With an impressive performance from Rihanna on the song, Tems was glad as she sees her as a role model.
